The PILE Symposium brings together researchers and early-career scholars from France, Taiwan, and Japan with the aim of advancing corpus-based approaches to phraseology and language education. The inaugural symposium was held in Grenoble on 12–13 March 2026, featuring hands-on workshops and demonstrations of tools such as Prefab, Lexicoscope, and FLEURON. At this meeting in Japan, participants will present the outcomes of that training as well as the initial findings emerging from several months of continued corpus analysis.

In addition to introducing newly compiled corpora, the symposium will showcase preliminary analyses and educational prototypes. The session will demonstrate how corpus annotation work has been transformed into concrete teaching materials and pedagogical innovations. It will also foster interdisciplinary and cross-linguistic dialogue among researchers working in French, Japanese, and Chinese, while strengthening international research networks. Through these exchanges, the symposium aims to propose practical approaches for improving foreign language education through the use of authentic spoken language corpora.

The expected outcomes include educational prototypes, internship training modules, and a roadmap for sustaining trilateral collaboration through a continuing seminar series and joint publication initiatives.


PILEシンポジウムは、フランス、台湾、日本の研究者および若手研究者を結集し、フレーズ学と言語教育におけるコーパスに基づくアプローチの発展を目指すものである。第1回は2026年3月12日～13日にグルノーブルで開催され、ハンズオン形式のワークショップやデモンストレーション（Prefab、Lexicoscope、FLEURON）が実施された。今回の日本開催では、その研修の成果および、その後数か月にわたる継続的なコーパス分析から得られた初期成果が報告される。

新たに構築されたコーパスの紹介に加え、予備的分析および教育用プロトタイプも提示される。本セッションでは、コーパス・アノテーション作業を通じて研究成果を具体的な授業教材や教授法の革新へとどのように転換してきたかを示す。また、本企画は、分野や言語（フランス語・日本語・中国語）を横断する越境的対話と国際的ネットワーク構築を促進し、真正性の高い話し言葉コーパスを活用した外国語教育改善のための実践的方策を提示する。

成果物としては、教育用プロトタイプ、インターンシップ研修モジュール、ならびにセミナー・シリーズや出版活動を通じた三国間協働の継続に向けたロードマップが含まれる。
