Fifty sessions were held in the Tsukuba Conference 2019 where Society 5.0 and SDGs were the two major themes.  Among all the sessions five sessions organized by the institutes located in the Tsukuba Science City will be followed up considering the situation change after the conference, especially the change of the society provoked by the coronavirus pandemic.  Finally challenges to the social change as well as expectations to the Tsukuba Conference 2021 will be discussed in the panel discussion.
