本セッションは、近年利用可能となってきた様々な種類の(大規模)データに基づいた言語研究を通して、既存の学問領域を融合した、まさに”トランスボーダー”な視点からの新たな研究領域を構築することを目的とする。今回は、特に、「名付け」や言語接触に関するテーマを中心にして、言語学、工学、情報工学の方面から文理融合を試みる。それにより、多くの未開拓分野を発掘し、その研究の出発点となる土台作りを行う。
