Food-related health problems and lifestyle-related diseases, issues of food security, and the increasing cost of medical care are just some of the many challenges society now faces. A fusion of agricultural and medical sciences is needed to find solutions for societies facing these myriads of problems.

This symposium will be held on the theme of "solutions to global issues related to food and health" with a focus on the efforts of the International Joint Degree Master's Program in Agro-Biomedical Science in Food and Health (GIP-TRIAD).
