Food-related health problems and lifestyle-related diseases, issues of food security, and the increasing cost of medical care are just some of the many challenges society now faces. A fusion of agricultural and medical sciences is needed to find solutions for societies facing these myriads of problems.

This symposium will be held on the theme of "solutions to global issues related to food and health" with a focus on the efforts of the International Joint Degree Master's Program in Agro-Biomedical Science in Food and Health (GIP-TRIAD).

食料に関わる健康障害や生活習慣病、食料の確保問題、さらに医療費削減など社会と密接にかかわる様々な課題がある中、農学と医科学の融合、そして、その成果を社会に還元できることが求められています。

本シンポジウムは国際連携食料健康科学専攻の取り組みを基軸に、「食と健康に関わる地球規模課題の解決案」をテーマに発表討論を行います。
