Today, social issues are increasingly complex and global perspectives are necessary to solve social issues.
There is a demand for a new field of legal studies with interdisciplinary and international features and collaboration with society, namely innovative legal studies.
In this session, experts from the fields of law, social sciences, and science and technology will come together to address legal challenges from different perspectives.
Additionally, discussions will involve researchers from Europe, including Germany, to examine the role of law in cutting-edge issues such as science and technology.
For example, ethical and legal issues arising from artificial intelligence and biotechnology will be debated.
Furthermore, a comparison of the legal systems between Europe and Japan will be conducted to explore the influences of different cultures and institutions on law and legal studies.
Through these efforts, it is expected that scholarly knowledge will be shared globally, contributing to the development of new legal studies.

グローバルに社会課題が複雑化する今日において、学際的、国際的、社会との連携を基盤とした、新たな法学すなわち創成法学の構想が求められています。
本セッションでは、法学、社会科学、科学技術の分野からの専門家が一堂に会し、異なる視点から法的課題に取り組みます。
加えて、ドイツをはじめとする、ヨーロッパの研究者を交えて、科学技術などの先端的課題における法の役割について検討します。
例えば、人工知能やバイオテクノロジー等がもたらす倫理的・法的問題について議論します。
また、ヨーロッパと日本の法体系を比較し、異なる文化や制度が法・法学に及ぼす影響についても考察します。
これにより、学術的な知見が国際的に共有され、新たな法学の構築に貢献することが期待されます。
