Breakthrough Life Science Innovation across the border

Since its establishment, T-LSI has attracted students from 27 countries to attend lectures by internationally renowned researchers and conduct multidisciplinary research in the life sciences.
The students, together with their multinational and multicultural peers, are motivated to learn not only in their own field of specialization, but also in other fields of research.
This has been an implementation of “transborder” human resource development in the life sciences that enables dialogue across countries, cultures, religions, and research fields.
In this session, faculty members, current students, and alumni from diverse research fields will present topics to summarize the activities of the program, which will soon celebrate its 10th anniversary.

Session 4-7 Introduction Movie TGSW2024

ライフイノベーション学位プログラムは開設以来、27カ国出身の学生が集まり、国際的に著名な研究者による講義を受け、生命科学に関する多分野の研究を行っている。
学生は、多国籍・多文化な学生とともに、自身の専門分野のみならず、他の研究分野の知識をも意欲的に学修している。
このことは、生命科学分野において国、文化、宗教、研究領域を超えた対話が可能なトランスボーダーな人材育成を実施してきたと言える。
本セッションでは、間もなく10年を迎えるプログラムの活動の総括として多様な研究分野からなる、教員、在学生、卒業生による話題提供を行う。
