Tsukuba Global Science Week 2024 (TGSW2024) was held at the University of Tsukuba and online from September 30 to October 4.

In the 13th meeting, TGSW2024 featured 24 sessions over the five-day period. 5 sessions were held online on September 30 and October 1, while from October 2 to 4, 17 sessions were held in a hybrid format, allowing both in-person and online participation at the University Hall of the University of Tsukuba. The opening and closing ceremonies, as well as the farewell reception, were also part of the event.
Many researchers from overseas participated in the farewell reception, making it a grand and memorable event.

Next year, the Tsukuba Conference, a biennial meeting organized by the Tsukuba Conference Organizing Council, will be held in place of the TGSW. It is scheduled to be held at the Tsukuba International Congress Center from Wednesday, October 1 to Friday, October 3, 2025, with the main theme “Going into New Frontiers with Society.”

9月30日から10月4日の5日間、筑波大学ならびにオンラインにてTsukuba Global Science Week 2024（TGSW2024）が開催されました。

第13回目となるTGSW2024では9月30日から10月4日の会期中に24のセッションが行われました。このうち9月30日と10月１日はオンラインで5セッションが開催され、10月2日～4日は筑波大学大学会館において、オープニングおよび閉会式/フェアウェルレセプションの他、17セッションが対面およびオンライン参加が可能なハイブリッド形式で開催されました。

閉幕のレセプションには、海外から参加した研究者も多く参加し、盛大な会となりました。
来年度は、TGSWに代わり筑波会議委員会が主催する筑波会議が、2025年10月1日（水）～3日（金）の3日間 ”Going into New Frontiers with Society”をメインテーマに、つくば国際会議場で開催予定です。
